2. Purpose of the extension

The extension reads vehicle-related content from supported mobile.de detail pages and transfers it to an offer generator.

3. Data processed

• Vehicle information from supported listings (e.g. title, price, technical details, description, features)
• Image URLs or image data from the listing
• Extension settings (server URL, language, debug mode)

4. How data is collected

Data is processed only when the user actively uses the extension (for example by clicking “Create offer”).

5. How data is used

• Extracting and structuring vehicle data
• Prefilling offer creation in the offer generator
• Storing user configuration in the extension

6. Data sharing and recipients

• Transfer to the user-configured offer server for prefill
• Storage of settings in Chrome Sync Storage (`chrome.storage.sync`)

The extension itself does not share data with ad networks or data brokers.

7. Storage and retention

Settings are stored until changed or removed. Further storage of transferred vehicle data depends on the privacy policy of the configured offer server.

8. Legal basis

Where personal data is processed, this is done to provide requested functionality (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and based on legitimate interests in technical operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

9. User rights

Users have rights under applicable law, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability.
